Location: Capitol Hill Community Center
                1531 21 Avenue NW
                Calgary, Alberta

Pursuant to the bylaws of the society, a petition signed by 1/3 of the members has been received by the current Secretary. A special meeting is being called by the Secretary and as per the bylaws notification is being provided eight (8) or more days prior to the meeting.

The reason for holding the meeting is to rectify the situation created by an improperly constituted AGM, which was held by the previous executive in March 2011. The intent of this special meeting is to have an open meeting in a physical setting with memberships available to all those who wish to attend. A facilitator will be present to confirm proper meeting protocol is followed and to ensure the meeting progresses according to the timeline outlined below.

·         2:10 pm - Call the meeting to order
·         2:15 pm - Discussion of past events and governance issues by Aaron Bauer (current Secretary/Treasurer)
·         2:35 pm - Open forum for any of the previous executive attending to speak
·         3:00 pm - Open floor with Q&A period (anyone wishing to speak will be allotted a maximum of 5 minutes)
·         3:30 pm - Election of executive and board of directors
·         4:00 pm - Meeting adjourned

At the conclusion of the special meeting the newly elected executive and board of directors will meet to determine ASORM strategy going forward and pick a date for the next executive meeting.

The ASORM website is currently under control of the past executive. Feel free to contact them if desired. However, if you have any questions or concerns regarding this meeting or please contact Aaron Bauer at 403-710-5988 or

Memberships will be available at the door (free of charge) and will have voting privileges as per the current bylaws of the society. If you are passionate about the future off-road motorcycling in Alberta, you should plan on attending to have your voice heard and you vote count!
